Welcome to Story Graph.
These Terms of Service govern your use of the Story Graph website, platforms, and services. By accessing or using Story Graph, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. Description of Service
Story Graph provides a web-based platform for planning, organizing, worldbuilding, and structuring narrative content using graph-based database tools. We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue features of the platform at any time without prior notice.
2. User Accounts
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and credentials.
- You are responsible for all activities and content generated under your account.
- You must provide accurate and complete registration details.
We reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in abusive platform usage.
3. User Content & Intellectual Property
You retain full ownership, copyright, and intellectual property rights of all creative content you generate on the platform (including story bibles, timelines, characters, chapters, and prose). Story Graph claims no ownership over your work.
You grant Story Graph a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, and display your content solely as required to provide the services to you and your designated collaborators.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the service to:
- Violate any local, national, or international laws.
- Upload malicious code, viruses, or spyware.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract the source code of the service.
- Interfere with system integrity, server load, or security systems.
- Abuse the AI tokens or image generation allowances.
5. Content Visibility Notice
Users acknowledge that certain media files, including uploaded images and AI-generated card art, may be stored using third-party infrastructure and resolved via publicly accessible URLs. You are responsible for ensuring that you do not upload extremely confidential or sensitive personal files that must never be publicly exposed.
6. Payments & Billing
All subscription plans and one-time purchases are processed securely through our Merchant of Record, Paddle. Paddle manages billing, taxes, payment security, and transaction compliance. By purchasing, you agree to Paddle's checkout terms and policies.
7. Warranties & Liability Limit
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operations. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Story Graph shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the platform.
